A busby for a reserve officer in the Prussian 2nd Hussar Regiment Body made of gray opossum fur. Silver front plate featuring a skull and crossbones, lined with black velvet and fastened with three split pins. Gilded, domed scale chain with rosette-shaped fasteners, white kolpak, silver bouillon regimental insignia with black velvet lining and a silver reserve cross. Prussian officer’s cockade. Black-and-white parade plume with silver tassel. Silver bouillon cords with black threading. Dark brown, well-worn leather sweatband, with gray velvet along the lower inner edge. White silk lining. Carrying case for the parade plume. Uncleaned, with patina and traces of soot. This lot is located in the U.S. Condition: II
