A helmet for reserve officers in the Prussian Garde du Corps Tombak bell; the stepped front visor is lined with green leather, and the rear visor is lined with black velvet. Silver parade eagle with a gold-plated crown, secured with a large brass wing nut. Silver officer’s emblem featuring a Guard star, a gold-plated Reserve Cross, and an enameled Order of the Black Eagle in the center, secured with two screw bolts. Gold-plated domed chin straps with gold-plated clover leaves and side bolts. The national and Prussian cockades in officer’s style. Light-colored leather sweatband; the white silk lining is soiled. Uncleaned, with patina/soot. This lot is located in the U.S. Condition: II
