Two patents for military surgeon Dr. Maximilian Simon, dated 1891 and 1916 Each contains a printed title page, appointment formulas, and handwritten entries. Commission as First-Class Assistant Physician in the Landwehr, 1st Call-Up (Nuremberg), dated Linderhof, August 8, 1891, bearing the handwritten ink signature of Prince Regent Luitpold and a blind embossed seal. Also included is a certificate of appointment as Senior Staff Surgeon, dated Roubaix, January 14, 1916, bearing the handwritten ink signature of King Ludwig III and a blind embossed seal. Each has been newly framed with a mat and glass. Signs of wear and age. Dimensions: 43 x 33 cm each. In fine condition. Condition: II
