A sergeant’s/ensign’s shako from the Imperial and Royal Hussar Regiment No. 13 Dark blue cloth covering. Top, band, and brim made of black patent leather (cracked, with small tears and minor chips in the patent finish). Distinctive trim and black-interwoven cord tassel (Vitéz Kötés) made of yellow fabric (the cone-shaped ends of the two braided tassels are missing). The double-eagle emblem with an openwork “13.” Metal rose with the initials “FJ1” and a black horsehair tuft (replaced and secured at the base with black adhesive tape). Purple-red silk lining (stained), brown leather sweatband. Partially slightly damaged, signs of age. Condition: II -
