A campaign sword, dated 1701 Double-edged blade with a long fuller on both sides. Engraved inscription on both sides of the hilt: “VIVA FELIPE SOVINTO REY DE SPANIA - HONORA DE DIOS ME FECIT E STRA EMDR AN 1701.” Heavy scalloped guard on both sides; S-shaped curved crossguard with heavy pommels and fist guard. Handle with iron wire wrapping and Turkish knots; pommel with spiral grooving. Length 106.5 cm. Condition: II
