Afghan pulwar, 19th century Curved back blade, with two notches on each side and a groove. Decorated sporadically with round puncations, with remnants of the original lacquer visible within them. The cutting edge widens at the hilt. Iron-cut hilt, tapering into a semicircular pommel. Blade shows signs of use; iron is pitted. Length 88 cm. Condition: II–III
