Smooth blade, tapering slightly toward the rounded tip, with faint bevels and a gentle curve before the cutting edges. At the junction with the handle, a double row of two twisted wires each; above this, a grip plate marking the end of the now-missing handle made of organic material. The tang, wide at the base, tapers rapidly upward into a spike-like projection. Dark green patina; slight nicks on the cutting edges. Length 24.3 cm. 2) Thoroughly cleaned, depatinated needle with a neck profiled by horizontally running ribs. The needle head consists of spherical, nearly semicircular ribs arranged all around. Below the ribs of the neck is a short zone with incised decoration. Eastern Mediterranean, late 2nd millennium BCE (Late Bronze Age III). Length 17.8 cm. 3) Pin with spherical projections arranged in a cross-shaped pattern around a cylinder; the upper one features a horizontal ridge around the center. Shiny dark green patina with minimal incrustations. Northeastern Fertile Crescent, early 1st millennium BCE. Length 12 cm. 4) Double-axe pendant, northern Greece and adjacent regions, 7th century BCE. Blue-green patina. Slightly warped with small chips on the cutting edges. Width 4.7 cm. 5) Late Hallstatt period arm ring. Central Europe. Smooth, domed inner surface, gently curved with faint edges at the top and bottom. The slightly more domed outer surface is profiled by closely spaced notches or ribs. Dark green patina with slight incrustations. Diameter 7.4 cm. CULTURAL HERITAGE!
