In-plano black half-cloth binding, mounted on tabs. - Riding Lessons, Saint Haôn-le-Vieux (near Roanne), 1851, 7 ff. (dim. 555 x 400 mm): 2 title pages and 5 plates featuring 9 figures of gaits, with or without a rider. - Lessons in Sacred Archaeology—Cathedrals, 1847, 61 folios (dimensions: 595 x 410 mm): 2 title pages and 59 plates depicting churches and cathedrals in France and around the world. The last folio, depicting a small church, is accompanied by a hand-drawn watercolor plan and an amusing handwritten comment: “"Design for a church in Ouches by Mr. Michaux, architect in Roanne—but the project, unjustly opposed by a few mischievous rascals from the town, could not be carried out [...]"".
