A large brass alms dish bearing the fleur-de-lys coat of arms of the House of Bourbon, 16th century Large dish made of sheet brass. The center features a relief coat of arms of the House of Bourbon (three lilies beneath a crown of lilies), surrounded by a Gothic scroll. Wide rim with two decorative stamped borders and a profiled edge. The rim has two drill holes; the edge is partially damaged. The reverse side shows repair marks and two mounted hanging eyes. Diameter: 42 cm – see K. Tiedemann, no. 68, for the motif. Condition: II–III
