A silver, partially gilded goblet, Nuremberg, probably by Thomas Stör II (1629–1683) Silver, with traces of gilding. A single cup or half of a double goblet. On an octagonal foot with a flared rim and eight knobs. The stem features three volute clasps and decorative foliage. The cup has two rows of knobs and finely engraved floral decoration. The interior depicts Saint George slaying the dragon. The cup and foot bear a tremolo line, an inspection mark, and a master’s mark. The shaft was gilded at a later date.
