In the upper right corner is the coat of arms of Urban VIII, and in the sea off the coast of Tuscany is the Medici coat of arms. From *Neuwe Archontologia Cosmica, das ist, Beschreibung aller Käyserthumben Königreichen und Republicken der gantzen Welt* by Johann Philip Zabelin (pseudonym of Johann Ludwig Gottfried), first published in Frankfurt in 1638, reprinted in Latin in 1638 and 1649, and in German in 1646 and 1695. (1) Copy mounted with two staples at the top in a modern cardboard mount. Three margins as in the original; the lower left margin has been restored. Vertical binding crease in the center.
