Inselin, the map is taken from the *Atlas Curieux, or The World Represented in General and Particular Maps of Heaven and Earth*, a famous historical atlas published in Paris between 1700 and 1705 (with subsequent expanded editions published through 1714–1725). (1) Good margins beyond the copperplate edge, very faint traces of two vertical folds, and minimal signs of wear.
