Andreas Kunzendorf Peter Kick An ornate pair of Regencé silver-gilt candlesticks Scalloped circular foot with flat repoussé strapwork on a punched ground. The baluster stem with corresponding decoration; the vase-shaped nozzle with a gadrooned rim. Inventory inscriptions in dot engraving to the underside, “E: No. 2. JH XI” and “E: No. 6. JH XI”. Engraved inventory numbers 55 and 56 to the lower part of the foot. One piece with Augsburg assay mark foraround 1720 and marks of Peter Kick, the other with Dresden assay and marks of Andreas Kunzendorf, around 1721. Provenance Herbert M.
