Gebrüder Hemmerle A green patinated silver blackened iron 18k gold and Russian demantoid brooch with an important rare deep dark green Burmese peridot. Solid forged rosette design in green-patinated silver, the radiating ribs of the lamellae bordered with rows of small Russian demantoid garnets (522 stones, total 6.31 ct), centred by an exceptionally fine oval faceted dark olive-green Burmese peridot (137.86 ct, approx. 32.6 × 27.6 × 21.4 mm, deep colour saturation) in a blackened iron prong setting. Material specifications according to the examined invoice from Hemmerle. Hallmarks: Fineness “750 Au, 925 Ag”, “F8”, “GH”, “Hemmerle”. 6.1 × 5.8 cm. Weight 94.84 g. Light grey “Hemmerle” case.
