Chateau Beychevelle 2016, 12 bottle Bottle conditions : 1spc, 1x12 bottle owc (not in bond VAT not paid) All condition and packaging abbreviations (e.g., owc, ts, lbsl, etc.) are given in their original English form. Refer to our catalog for an explanation of these abbreviations. Wine notes: "The 2016 Beychevelle has a stunning bouquet of vibrant, shimmering blackberry and wild strawberry fruit laced with crushed stone and rose petals. The well-balanced palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin and a slightly savory/dried blood finish that lingers in the mouth. Tasting both in London and in Bordeaux, I found the latter bottle to have a little more precision and race on the finish."(96pts VM) Provenance: Special Swiss Cellar Selections: Our Zürich-based collector and wine specialist, known for championing sustainability and authenticity, returns with fifty-four lots that reflect both classic taste and a curious palate. Bordeaux commences with twelve bottles of 2010 Cheval Blanc in two six-bottle OWCs and a case of 1979 L’Evangile in OWC, alongside full cases of 2009 Ducru-Beaucaillou and Montrose. Domaine Leroy displays five single bottles from 1992 through 1997, while Coche-Dury leads the whites with Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. Two full OWCs of 2010 Guigal La Mouline and six cases of 2008 Piper-Heidsieck Rare lead into the collector’s adventurous side, from Pierre Overnoy Arbois to 2004 Keller G-Max and three cases of 2016 Opus One. All wines removed from professional storage. Refer to original catalog header sections for additional information on provenance when available.
