Three parts bound in one 8vo volume in red calfskin, with the coat of arms of Toulouse in a color mosaic at the center of the front cover, smooth spine, black chagrin title label (modern binding). FIRST EDITION of this account by an engineer officer who witnessed the Battle of Toulouse, which took place at the city gates. Includes a PLAN, a fold-out PLATE depicting a proposed monument, a fold-out MAP of Toulouse, and 3 LARGE fold-out PLANS, all in color. The title page and most of the plates are signed in black ink by the author with his initials “C. D.” ¶ Missing from Tulard–Quérard, II, 53; Barbier, III, 980.
