Front label shows pronounced moisture stains, surface wear, and paper loss in the upper right corner, though the main identifying information remains legible. Bottom label shows stains and signs of storage. Capsule intact, with slight surface scuffs. Seal from the Priorat Regulatory Council preserved. From a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. L’Ermita is Álvaro Palacios’s most iconic wine and one of the great benchmarks of the Priorat and contemporary Spanish viticulture. It comes from a unique vineyard located in Gratallops, on steep slopes with slate soils, characterized by very low yields and limited production. The 2002 vintage, made with 80% Garnacha and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, stands out for its concentration, depth, and pronounced minerality. Awarded 94 points by Vinous, it combines aromas of black fruits, spices, and balsamic notes with an elegant and persistent structure.
