Condition: Level 1 VTS (Very Top Shoulder) and BN (Base Neck). The 1970 bottle has a complete and legible front label, with yellowing and stains typical of aging. It retains remnants of a seal near the neck and a legible back label, with slight signs of wear. The 1982 bottle shows more pronounced deterioration, with generalized darkening, stains, scuffs, and superficial damage to the labels. It retains a badge commemorating the gold medal from the 1989 Bordeaux Exposition. A set of two historic vintages of Faustino I Gran Reserva, one of the most iconic wines of Rioja Alavesa and a leading representative of the tradition of Spanish gran reservas. The 1970 and 1982 vintages evoke a particularly significant period in the history of Rioja viticulture, characterized by long aging periods and the production of wines intended for prolonged development in the bottle.
