Château Margaux, 1999. A.O.C. Margaux, Bordeaux, France. Premier Grand Cru Classé in the official 1855 Bordeaux classification. Red wine. 1 bottle, 75 cl. Condition: IN (Into Neck). Original maroon capsule, intact, with no breaks or visible signs of leakage, and slight surface marks. Front label complete, well-adhered, and legible, with scattered dark spots, mainly in the center and along the edges, and slight signs of aging. It comes from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Château Margaux is one of Bordeaux’s most iconic estates and one of the five Premiers Grands Crus Classés in the 1855 classification. Its vineyards are located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, on gravelly soils that favor the cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon—the predominant variety in its blends—accompanied primarily by Merlot. The 1999 vintage stands out for its elegance, balance, and aromatic expression, with a style that is more refined than powerful. Château Margaux 1999 displays the estate’s characteristic silky and floral character, with nuances of red and black fruits, violets, cedar, and spices. A vintage of remarkable distinction and maturity, particularly appealing to collectors of great Bordeaux wines.
