Front label is legible, with stains, surface dirt, scuffs, and small tears and losses along the bottom edge. It has a dark vertical mark on the right side. The maroon capsule with gold lettering is intact, with slight scuffs. From a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Château Margaux 1998 offers a distinctly classic expression. The estate highlights the concentration of the vintage and how aging has brought roundness and harmony to its initially firm structure. In its October 2025 assessment, the winery notes the freshness of red fruit, nuances of vanilla and roasted notes, and a powerful palate supported by firm tannins, describing it as a wine with great aging potential.
