809 - Group of three Chinese export Imari porcelain teapots and covers, ca. first half 18th century. Each with shouldered bodies beneath a domed cover. Two decorated with ruyi-head panels of garden vignettes. The third with a stylized garden scene on each side showing a partially unrolled scroll painting. Provenance: Christie's, New York, "The Benjamin F. Edwards III Collection of Chinese Export Porcelain, Part II," 22 January 2003, Lot 14; The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Height ranges from 5 3/4 in to 6 1/4 in; width ranges from 6 3/4 in to 7 1/4 in; diameter ranges from 4 1/2 in to 4 3/4 in.
