God the Father presides over the scene, surrounded by a cloud. Diameter: 39 cm Switzerland?, 18th century According to the accompanying documentation: according to the former parish priest of Abondance, this scene commemorates the destruction of the Abbey of Les Voirons (near Boëge) by fire in 1768. In the background of the main scene, one can see the cities of Geneva, Évian, Thonon, and Lake Geneva.
