View of the Castello dell’Acqua Giulia, based on the excavation carried out this year, 1822, at the Villa Tiburtina. - III. View of the Castello dell’Acqua Giulia, now Porta S. Lorenzo. - IV. Remains of the Palazzo dei Cesari on the Palatine Hill. - Luigi Rossini (Ravenna 1790 – Rome 1857) studied at the Academy in Bologna before moving to Rome in 1814, where he continued his studies and later worked under Canova. His early drawings are influenced by his great predecessor, Piranesi. - Slight crease marks; otherwise in good condition. *
