A magnificent and highly prestigious photo album presented as a birthday gift from the senior administrative officials to their boss. The Ottakringer Iron Foundry and Machine Factory manufactured machine tools, locomotive wheel lathes, drilling machines, and other equipment. It was founded in 1862 by Reinhard Fernau as a machine tool factory, took over the Carl Pfaff Machine Factory around 1870, and merged in 1894 with the firm Gutjahr & Müller (Budapest) to form Vulkan Maschinenfabrik A.G. Vienna-Budapest. The portraits are from the studio of the famous photographer György Klösz of Budapest. — Clasp is loose; the interior is only occasionally slightly dusty; overall, in good condition. *
