The first of two published poetry collections by the author, who, together with I. Sel’vinski and K. Zelinskij founded the group of literary constructivists in 1922 and subsequently radicalized their positions, for example through distinctions between the spoken and written word and the integration of sounds and symbolic signs: “The genuine Plaf’ is written in phonetic script.
