Schinas. - Provenance: Ex-libris “Gebrüder Dumba,” the wholesalers Michael Dumba, director of the Austrian National Bank and Greek consul general (1828–94), and his brother Nikolaus, a prominent patron of the arts (1830–1900). The front covers also bear a gold-stamped name inscription by Michael Dumba’s brother-in-law, Konstantin M. Curti. A Greek circular stamp “PS” appears several times in the text. - Browning glue streaks between the silk and white endpapers; some pages are slightly browned and have foxing, but overall a clean copy. *
