Later half-parchment binding. Borchling/Claussen 3885 – Klitzing 87 – Menke 275ff. – “A fairly accurate reprint of the 1498 text, which had been completely forgotten since Baumann’s edition. The accompanying *Koker*, a collection of proverbs, is probably the editor’s own work.” (Ebert). According to GVK, the author is Hermann Bote. This edition served as the basis for Gottsched’s 1752 translation. — Slightly browned and with a few light spots here and there. *
