Only edition. - VD 17 23:236548M - Faber du Faur 177. - Wilhelm von Kalckheim (1584–1640) was a colonel in the Hessian army and was taken prisoner by Imperial forces at the Battle of Lutter am Barenberg in 1626, where he wrote this translation. In 1629, he became a member of the “Fruchtbringende Gesellschaft” and died in 1640 as Commanding General in Rostock. - A clean copy. *
