Framed in a Plexiglas box: 91.5 x 77.5 cm. An example of Peter Royen's lifelong exploration of the non-color white, which he contrasts with color and disrupts through surface treatment. Royen came to Düsseldorf from the Netherlands in 1946 to study under Otto Pankok at the Academy. Royen became a member of the Düsseldorf Malkasten artists' association and Group 53.
