Paris, published by novelty booksellers, 1826; 18mo, bound. 166 pp. A rare small volume. “The destruction of this scathing little work was ordered by a ruling of the Royal Court of Paris, dated November 1, 1826. It was thoroughly suppressed, and as a result, copies are extremely rare.” Drujon. Condemned works, p. 53, for the Paris edition, Belin, 1826. “This small volume, filled with slander and no doubt also with calumny, was seized, condemned, and carefully destroyed.”
