Dmitry Savchenko’s photography lies at the intersection of art, the performing arts, and portraiture, capturing the human and symbolic dimensions of great figures in opera and ballet. His elegant and precise vision has made his work a benchmark in the international performing arts scene. Dmitry Savchenko is an internationally renowned photographer. His work has been commissioned by some of the world’s most prestigious theater institutions, including The Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Paris Opera, La Scala, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Bolshoi Theater, and the Mariinsky Theater, as well as for major campaigns related to dance and the performing arts. Between 2006 and 2018, he participated in 29 international exhibitions dedicated to dance legends, including high-profile institutional exhibitions, such as the one held in Los Angeles in 2010 during the visit of Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna Romanova.
