The female head, inspired by the legendary Lorelei of Germanic mythology, incorporates a detachable mask and an ingenious system of interchangeable elements, reflecting Berrocal’s fascination with transformable sculptures. This edition is copy number 132 of a limited edition of 500. It has one flaw: one of the pearls on the interchangeable mouthpiece is missing, a circumstance that does not detract from the quality or collector’s interest in the piece.
