Inscribed lower left on the support: "Itl.". Dated “1978” in the lower right. Date: 1978 Description: Standing in a grove of olive trees, the viewer looks through the tangle of branches of the old trees, which stand out as twisted silhouettes against the moss-green background. The artistic color gradients in bold hues are characteristic of the artist, who primarily studied landscapes in Italy and captured them in watercolor. Provenance: From the artist’s estate.
