Date: c. 1840 Description: The picture shows a picturesque scene with the building complex of Stetten Castle, embedded in an impressive natural backdrop. A picturesque arched opening in the rock frames the view of a castle with towers and elaborate façades. Various trees and plants in the foreground reinforce the harmonious impression of the composition.
