Date: 1875 Description: Historical scene on the deck of a ship. In the background a whole fleet can be seen on the water. The drawing comes from a collection of history and saga depictions with Nordic scenes and themes from the hand of the Danish artist Rondahl, who made a name for himself especially as a draughtsman. He provided the designs for numerous historical, archaeological and literary writings.
