170 - A Large Gilt Bronze and Cloisonné Enamel Tripod Sensor Burner and Cover. Late Qing dynasty, circa 1900. The domed ornate lid is finely decorated with scrolling. The body having Lotus blossoms surmounted by a well cast figural finial serving as the handle. The robust globular body, featuring two prominent flanked figural handles and the Central body adorned with floral panels. The base is fully enamelled, a sign of excellent quality and the sensor was made for the Chinese market rather than export. ln very good antique condition. Height 27cm. Weight 2kg.
