Black and white marble, richly mounted with fire-gilded bronze. Decorated with a female head within a sunburst, rosettes and palmettes, geometric friezes, and a lambrequin featuring the Napoleonic Eagle. Dial signed 'Lagrange à Paris'. Movement with silk rope suspension. Empire style. France, 19th century.
