The exhibition was organized as part of a series of national contemporary art exhibitions regularly hosted by the Ligurian municipality at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. “Uomo S.p.A.” was the conceptual title of the artistic project itself. Between 1970 and 1971, a group of prominent Italian avant-garde critics and artists launched this themed exhibition titled “Uomo S.p.A.” Participants in the group exhibition included, among others, Valerio Adami, Emilio Tadini, Concetto Pozzati, Luca Alinari, Paolo Baratella, Fernando De Filippi, Umberto Mariani, Sergio Sarri, Tino Stefanoni, and many others. In the lower left corner of the poster, the signature “ant. Marte de Betis” (that is, the artist and graphic designer Antonio Marte, of Italian-Spanish descent), who was responsible for the graphic layout of the event, while the printing was carried out by the historic Tipograf printing house in Savona.
