TWO POSTERS: COME TO SANREMO, CASINO SPORT HOTEL … AND TWO SAFE HARBORS. An official Sanremo tourism poster from 1981. As is clearly evident from the central painting set within the oval, the artist is the renowned painter Antonio Bueno (his signature, “A. Bueno,” is visible in the upper right corner of the painting). The central subject depicts the famous “Marinaretto di Sanremo,” a characteristic icon of Bueno’s neo-figurative and rounded style. That year, the City of Sanremo chose Bueno’s painting as the official image for its summer promotional campaign. Rare. Dimensions: 57 x 79 cm. 2) 1982 POGGIBONSI ART: PAINTING – SCULPTURE POGGIBONSI 11–12–82 / 9–1–83. PRESENTATION BY CESARE ZAVATTINI; SCREENING OF THE FILM *LA “VERITA’AAA”* (DIRECTED BY CESARE ZAVATTINI); PRESENTATION OF MILENA MILANI’S BOOK *UMORI E AMORI* (PUBLISHED BY RUSCONI). Dimensions: 63 x 94 cm. The specific edition from December 1982–January 1983 marked a moment of great prominence precisely because the traditional group exhibition of painting and sculpture was incorporated into a “festival of culture.” The City chose to pair traditional visual arts with avant-garde cinema—with Cesare Zavattini personally presenting his auteur film *La Veritàaaa*—and with great contemporary literature, featuring the presentation of a book by writer and art critic Milena Milani, who had long been associated with the exhibition, having curated or written introductions for its catalogs in previous editions as well.
