MERYL STREEP AND CLINT EASTWOOD During the filming of "The Bridges of Madison County" The director is wearing a chronograph on his wrist, presumably equipped with the Lemania 5100 caliber, subject to formal watchmaker identification. Vintage RC prints, with credits printed beneath the images, including the photographer’s name. 25.7 x 20.2 cm including borders. Note: They came together for their only collaboration in *The Bridges of Madison County*, directed by Clint Eastwood in 1995 and based on the novel by Robert James Waller. Eastwood plays Robert Kincaid, a photographer passing through Iowa, while Meryl Streep portrays Francesca Johnson, a wife and mother torn between her family responsibilities and a love as intense as it is fleeting. Far from his typical action-hero roles, Eastwood delivered an intimate melodrama that has become one of the great love stories of American cinema. Meryl Streep’s performance earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.
