Two flight scenes, refugee trek in snow with covered wagon and tank, harbour with steamer, soldiers Two ink drawings, ink/card, washed, unsigned, one with blind stamp "Felix Schoeller Parole" upper left, age-appropriate good condition, 1) landscape format, refugee trek in the snow with covered wagon, car and a tank, figures with luggage, in front a fallen horse before an overturned wagon and a figure in a coat pulling a two-wheeled handcart, image 12.5x38 cm (HxW), overall 20.5x44 cm (HxW), 2) harbour scene with a steamer with two funnels, soldiers in steel helmets, a horse-drawn cart with driver, people with bundles and suitcases, a woman with headscarf and a child, image 25x23 cm (HxW), overall 33x29 cm (HxW) The drawing card of one of the two sheets bears the blind stamp "Felix Schoeller Parole": the paper mill Felix Schoeller was founded in 1895 in Gretesch near Osnabrück and, alongside its photographic base papers, offered drawing and document papers; a sample book "Felix Schoeller Parole: Zeichenpapier" appeared in 1984 with Zanders Feinpapiere. In a washed ink drawing the line drawing is gone over with diluted ink, which creates the grey tones of the snow, the sky and the clothing. The two flight scenes with trek and embarkation belong, as contemporary records, to historical collectibles and militaria of the 20th century.
