Puma "Game Warden" hunting pocket knife with blade and saw, wooden handle, in original Puma box Steel, wood and metal, hunting pocket knife, folding knife, Puma model 971 "Game Warden", blade marked "971 PUMA-GAME-WARDEN", stamped number 13971. Blade and saw, wooden grip scales with brass-coloured bolsters, hole at the end of the handle. In original green and yellow plastic box with raised lettering "PUMA", "KNIFEMAKERS TO THE WORLD" and "HANDMADE". Used condition commensurate with age. Blade length 9 cm The Solingen firm Puma traces its history back to 1769, when Johann Lauterjung had his trademark entered in the Solingen cutlers' roll. The "Game Warden" belongs to the company's so-called American series, which has been in the range for over fifty years. Model 971 has a blade and a saw of stainless steel with back lock, making it a classic hunting pocket knife for work in the field. Wooden grip scales with brass bolsters characterise the earlier versions of this Solingen folding knife.
