Schuco Micro Racer Collection, Two Tin Racing Cars and a Go-Kart with Clockwork Collection of three Schuco "Micro Racer" models of tinplate with clockwork and start-stop lever, each with racing number 1. Included are a silver-coloured and a red single-seater racing car as well as a red go-kart with driver figure in red overalls and helmet, together with one original box (number 1041). Later reproductions. One key is present. The function has been tested and is given. Played with; on the silver-coloured and on the red racing car the tyres are cracked. The Micro Racer range was Schuco's inexpensive, robust small-car series of the 1950s and 1960s. Characteristic are the clockwork drive with start-stop lever, the central wheel fastener and the removable wheels. Alongside the single-seater racing cars, go-karts with driver figures were also produced, taking up the theme of the emerging enthusiasm for kart racing in the 1960s. The small racing cars still form a popular Schuco collecting field of their own today.
