Märklin train set Z gauge 8133 "Rheingold-Zug", locomotive with tender and five cars, original box Märklin Z gauge, mini-club, train set 8133 in original box with black plastic insert. Model of the Rheingold luxury train, epoch 2, box inscription "EIN GRAND-HOTEL AUF SCHIENEN" and "Rheingold-Zug der Deutschen Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft", red round seal "mini-club". Contents: a steam locomotive with tender of the class 18.4, black with red spoked wheels and red tender chassis; four passenger cars in blue and yellow with silver-coloured roofs, each inscribed twice "RHEINGOLD", two of them with class numeral "1" and two with "2"; a blue baggage car with silver-coloured roof and roof superstructure. Played with. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be completely ruled out. Function not tested. Märklin presented the mini-club at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in 1972; the models on a scale of 1:220 run on a track gauge of 6.5 mm. The prototype of this model railway, the Rheingold luxury train, ran from 15 May 1928 between Hoek van Holland and Basel. Its cars belonged to the Reichsbahn and were operated by Mitropa; they were painted in violet and beige with silver-grey roof.
