Märklin H0 steam locomotive 3095 class 74 of the DB with four coaches and luggage van 327/328 Train set, gauge H0, by Märklin. Black steam tank locomotive of class 74 of the German Federal Railway, article number 3095 (noted by hand on the rear buffer beam), with the running number 74 1070. In addition four two-axle third-class passenger coaches (type 327) and a luggage van (type 328) in green livery. The locomotive with the running number 74 1070 is the version of 1968; three passenger coaches and the luggage van have claw couplings of pre-war production. Played-with condition, one coupling missing on one passenger coach. The locomotive's function has been tested and is present. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. Class 74 was a Prussian tank locomotive (class T 12) for local passenger service, procured from 1902 and running with the Federal Railway into the 1960s. Märklin reproduced it under article number 3095; only the first version of 1968 carries the running number 74 1070, from 1969 it was 74 701 (Koll's Kompaktkatalog Märklin 00/H0, 1983, no. 3095, variant 1). The two-axle passenger coaches of type 327 and the luggage van 328 form a typical branch line train. Three of the passenger coaches and the luggage van, with their claw couplings, date from pre-war production of the years 1935 to 1939 (ibid., nos. 327 and 328). The locomotive, three of the passenger coaches and the luggage van have been recorded in the consignor's collection index since 1982.
