Märklin RSM 800 electric locomotive in green, two pantographs, gauge H0, 1950s Electric locomotive of the Märklin brand, type RSM 800, in gauge H0. Green die-cast body with two pantographs. Played-with condition, paint rubbed. Function not present, servicing and care needed. In a red/white Märklin box with diamond pattern, box with storage marks. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be entirely ruled out. The track section shown serves only for presentation. The type RSM 800 belongs to the classic Märklin 800 series and was produced from 1950 to 1953. The machine, styled as a rod-drive electric locomotive, is probably modelled on class E 32; the heavy casting and the dark green livery are typical of the electric locomotives of those years.
