An original and unique design created for the celebrations marking the fiftieth anniversary of the scientific career of Dmitri Pavlovich Riabouchinsky, a leading figure in 20th-century Russian and French aerodynamics. The composition brings together representations of three iconic locations from his career: the Kuchino Institute of Aerodynamics, the Sorbonne, and the Institute of Fluid Mechanics at the University of Paris.
