Fine, finely speckled fawn calfskin of the period; decorated ribbed spine (front cover missing, binding scuffed, joints worn, some foxing). Only one copy in the CCFr. Anonymous work. Entirely engraved work. With wide margins, on laid paper. Heraldic plates etched in black. A rare work on heraldry, published anonymously under the initials “L. D. C.” in Paris in 1659.
