A large Chinese blue and white bowl Qing dynasty, Kangxi period, apocryphal Chenghua mark Painted to the exterior with a continuous scene of a hundred birds paying homage to the phoenix, with various species shown wheeling in flight, perched on tree branches, or alighting on rocks, one phoenix standing on a rock with its plumage flowing, lowering its head and looking back, the other emerging partially from behind a rock, the interior central circular panel painted with a four-clawed dragon writhing amidst clouds and a toad perched on rocks along the shore, the base bearing a six-character apocryphal Chenghua kaishu mark in underglaze blue, 20.6cm diameter. 清康熙 青花「百鳥朝鳳」紋大碗，青花楷書「大明成化年製」ji'tuo'kuan
