(R) A BRONZE BASIN, HAN DYNASTY, CHINA 206 BC - 220 AD Dimensions: Height 7,8 cm Wide 30 cm Depth 30 cm Weight: 1462 grams A shallow circular bronze basin with gently rising sides and a plain, broad interior. Two small ring handles interrupt the rim, while the metal surface shows a mottled range of green, blue-green and brown tones. The simple, open form emphasises the vessel's generous diameter, with a subtle change of profile at the lip lending definition to its outline. Here the ring handles provide the principal sculptural accent, contrasting with the uninterrupted bowl of the interior. Surface deposits and changes of colour create an intricate visual texture without obscuring the fundamental clarity of the form. This VAT is waived for: - Private buyers outside the EU who officially export the items.- Businesses inside the EU holding a valid VAT number, exporting to their home country.
